I feel fortunate to be part of NLFA, Each day I am thankful of the work I am doing. Which can be challenging at times. We presently are caring for 4 children. However without the support of the team which includes the support workers who are on the front line especially during these unique times, I can’t thank them enough. While being home due to lockdown, I have focused on updating my skills by attending Zoom training and online line training, once again the support of NLFA was there as I struggled at time to log on or gain my password. Staff were patient and understanding, giving me the time I needed to gain access to the training hub. Finally as we are about to come out of our second lockdown, I look forward to meeting the team face to face and introducing the children to everyone.

The agency has been very supportive and helpful they have supported us from the start of our placement. If we needed anything we had New Life Fostering there to pick up the phone on the other side with helpful ideas and with all the training they have given us. I will recommend them to friends and family.

I would like to say that new life fostering has been an experience that me and my wife enjoy. We are both happy with the excellent response when we need some help or anything else that we didn’t know or understand. New Life Fostering is a very excellent agency and we continue to enjoy working with them.

I would highly recommend working with new life fostering! The agency is so welcoming and caring. It’s absolutely amazing, everyone works together as a team and are happy to help and give out advice when needed. It’s like we are all one big family! I have always wanted to go into fostering, as I see it as a way of helping others who just want to have a family, and be loved. Thanks to new life, I’m now living my dream! Thank you.

I started five years ago with the agency and as it’s grown in the number of fostering families and management. It has not lost its touch. It still maintains the family feeling and approachability, where you can approach any and everyone from the agency regardless of their position.

Couldn't wish for a better agency for a foster carer or for the children that are placed within their agency, I am here to stay, forever how long I am still a foster carer. I would recommend this fostering agency to anyone who want to become or move to this agency. What set the agency apart from others is that Jeanette the registered manager is a foster carer herself, who has a lot of experience and this was the only reason I came onboard and I have not regretted my decision since.

How do I feel? I am proud to be part of NLF, as we are fully supported. We have had a challenging few years with COVID but this has not affected the support given by the whole team. Communication is 10 out of 10. Staff are at the end of the phone and regularly in contact updating us about training and current events. I was inspired and encouraged when I was asked to voice my opinion about the training I had received this year. Foster Carer. I am always nervous and worried that I may have done something wrong. However, the staff are calm and very supportive. I think I am up to date with my training. Due to COVID we have come to terms with on live training but I will always miss face to face training as I love to talk to the team and the other foster carers. It is the best thing we have ever done!!! Fostering is so rewarding. We are making a difference every day. What I love about being a foster carer with NLF is that we are not alone, we are part of a caring family.
