New Life Fostering in Sandwell

Sandwell is a metropolitan borough of the West Midlands county, made up of six towns, Oldbury, Rowley Regis, Smethwick, Tipton, Wednesbury and West Bromwich. Home to some of the busiest transport links within West Midlands, it is easy to make your way around the borough and access the city via road, rail or metro. Sandwell also have much to offer for children and families including, clubs and social groups, museums, libraries, leisure centres and outdoor spaces. There has been an increase in numbers of children and young people needing warm supportive homes within the Sandwell area and New Life Fostering are working hard to meet the needs of those children.

New Life Fostering is an independent fostering agency and was established in 2012 in response to the need for a prompt and reliable service providing foster care to children and young people in need, especially those from across the West Midlands.

We currently provide services to over 20 local authorities across the West Midlands. We are a member of CoramBAAF, The Fostering Network and a part of the West Midlands Fostering Framework. As a growing agency, we provide high quality family placements to children and young people in our care and offer competitive foster care allowances and benefits to foster carers.

We are seeking foster carers in the Sandwell area due to the increase in the numbers of children needing to be cared for, we are eager to discuss fostering with potential new applicants and/or experienced foster carers who wish to transfer to New Life Fostering. We are dedicated to recruiting foster carers who are based local to Sandwell and surrounding areas to support and meet the needs of children and young people who originate from Sandwell and the West Midlands.

Our registered office is in Erdington, Birmingham. We have a dedicated team of staff who offer ongoing support to carers and children including:

  • Regular support from supervising social workers
  • Foster carer support groups and forums
  • Day trips for children and carers
  • Support worker input to help you maintain placement stability
  • Children’s support groups & activities
  • Training based in the Birmingham area
  • Competitive fostering allowances.
